Job Overview

As an Entry-Level Data Analyst, you will work closely with our senior analysts and business teams to collect, process, and analyze data to support decision-making. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for data, strong analytical thinking, and a desire to grow in a dynamic IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Processing:

• Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets).
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity for reporting and analysis.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Create reports and visualizations (dashboards, charts) using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Assist in generating business insights to support decision-making.

Database & Querying:

• Write basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
• Assist in maintaining and optimizing databases.

Collaboration & Support:

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.
• Present findings in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated on data analysis tools, techniques, and industry trends.
• Support senior analysts in advanced analytics projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or recent graduate).
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data querying.
  • Familiarity with Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Python or R (optional but beneficial).
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Ability to explain data insights clearly.
• Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to grow in a fast-paced IT environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

• Internship or academic projects involving data analysis.
• Familiarity with statistical concepts.
